III. Festival of Spring in Paris

The jury was already for the third time presided by Mr. Jean-Michel Deluc, president of the Association of Sommeliers of Ile de France, other jury members were the 2004 best French sommelier Mr. Dominique Laporte, head sommelier of the famous Parisian restaurant Taillevent Mr. Manuel Peyrondet and representing Czechia Mr. Martin Pastyrik, president of the Association of sommeliers of the Czech Republic.

During the event the YMCA branch in Brno presented its activities to its French colleagues. YMCA Brno representatives were then received by the Czech ambassador to France Mr. Pavel Fischer.

After the festive presentation of the competition result represenatives of the leading French media watched presentations of Project Austerlitz, Moravian Wine Routes (www.nadacepartnerstvi.cz) and had the opportunity to taste Southern Moravian wines as well as specialities of the local cuisine. The Parisian audience highly values the presence of Moravian wine producers in the Czech Centre being attracted by the possibility to discover new gastronomic products. With no doubt, even there the Bohemian and Moravian wines found their favourers.
